"TULIP" Sermon Series - August 2009
2009 marks the 500th birthday of the "brains of the Protestant Reformation," John Calvin. In his honor, your pastors have decided to do a five-part sermon series during the five Sundays of August.

Psalm Sermon Series
To help us achieve a more joyful style of worshipping there are many outstanding books to be found in our own Meyercord Library on subjects such as music in worship, praise for God, study of the Psalms and more.

Prayer & Fasting Worship Services
We find ourselves facing another challenge: a significant general operating budget deficit. We are hundreds of thousands of dollars behind where we need to be when our fiscal year closes on August 31. So…once again, we are asking the congregation to pray daily, invest faithfully and joyfully in God’s worldwide Kingdom enterprise as tithers and sacrificial givers, and be a part of four Wednesdays where there will be prayer and fasting services.

50 Years of Ministry... So What?
Woody's example of dedication and faithfulness as a servant of Jesus Christ makes him a mentor to other ministers, church staff members, and the many congregations he has served. Since his graduation from Gordon-Conwell Seminary and subsequent ordination, Woody has lived out his lifelong passion of Christian Education all over the country.

PFR's Brief Overview of General Assembly 2008
The 218th General Assembly of the PC(USA) made some major decisions that require prayer and thoughtful response. The most significant decisions are contrary to the very foundation of Christian faith and life, our calling to witness to the Lordship of Jesus Christ in and for the world.
