Deacon Ministry

Care Team Ministry

  • Participate with a group of individuals to provide care for a friend in need.

Practical Concerns Ministry

  • Carter BloodCare Program: Planning and conducting Blood Drives twice a year with bone marrow and platelet typing for distribution to members and constituents as needed.
  • Good Samaritan Fund: A portion of the Good Samaritan Fund is made available specifically to meet the emergency needs of HPPC's staff, members, and constituents (Non-member needs are handled via the EM&O office).
  • Influenza Inoculations: Arranging for Corporate Health Management to provide flu shots each fall to staff and members who request it.

Grief Ministry

  • Help with one-month sympathy calls and one-year anniversary letters for those that have lost a loved one.

Pastoral Counseling & Education Center

  • PCEC counsels HPPC members on a sliding scale basis with satellite offices around the Dallas area. Their main office is at 4525 Lemmon Ave, Dallas, TX 75219, phone 214-526-4525.

Prayer Support Committee

  • A corps of volunteers provide regular intercessory prayer ministry in the Prayer Room.

Welcome Ministry

  • Greeters are monthly volunteers stationed in and around the church campus on Sunday mornings to welcome members and visitors alike.
