Our Mission

Making Disciples of Jesus Christ

To make disciples requires a common understanding of discipleship. We have adopted a “working” definition of a disciple to guide our ministries.
“Disciples are followers of Jesus who have accepted Him as their only Lord and Savior, and committed their lives to intentionally deepening their personal relationships with the living Christ through worship, prayer, study of the Word, and fellowship, and Growing His Kingdom through passionate witness and service.”

Our Vision

We are a body of believers passionate about Jesus Christ, energized by worship and prayer, rooted in Scripture, and dedicated to growing God’s Kingdom through witness and service.

Our Vision Statement shares this understanding of discipleship. It expresses who we are in part and who we want to be more fully. We view “making disciples” as a three-step process of “call, grow, and send.”

  • Call - a ministry that leads people to Christ, wins them to Christ, and then involves them in the life of the church and the beginning of their growth as disciples and disciple-makers
  • Grow - a ministry that transforms lives in Christ, through worship, prayer, connection to a caring community, and Scripture
  • Send - a ministry that impacts the world for Christ, through words and deeds, witness and service that reaches people with the love of Christ
