How We Define Evangelism

Our Purpose

To equip HPPC to communicate the good news of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God in a meaningful way.

The Evangelism Team will equip the HPPC family to build relationships and lead people into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our Priorities are to Help You 

  • Develop a heart for those who don't know Jesus Christ
  • Learn to share the Gospel in your personal spheres of influence
  • Discover or rediscover the historical message of the Kingdom of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • Overcome barriers to communicating the Gospel and the message of the Kingdom of God
  • See your need for lifelong equipping in evangelism
  • Explore creative ways of sharing an ancient message
  • Help in our goal of reaching a significant percentage of our community with the Gospel
  • Make your ministry area more evangelistic
  • Grow in confidence and effectiveness in personal and corporate evangelism

Biblical Principles for Evangelism

Evangelism is the task of reaching out into the world with the message of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God in order to give every person the opportunity to experience a life-changing encounter with Him.
 
What is the relationship of spiritual growth and evangelism?

Here are a few things to consider: 

  • Evangelism is integral to spiritual growth and discipleship
  • Each disciple is responsible to be a witness and to personally and corporately share the Gospel and the Kingdom of God
  • In order to grow in evangelism, each disciple needs both personal experience and equipping in offering the Gospel and the Kingdom of God
  • Experienced and equipped disciples should reproduce themselves by training new believers in witnessing and evangelism
  • As we grow in following Jesus Christ, we should be growing in our ability to reach seekers with the life-changing reality of Jesus Christ.  Make a difference in your ability to share Jesus Christ with others.
