Life Enlistment
Serves to encourage, support, and assist HPPC members pursuing a vocation in ministry, particularly, but not exclusively, those sensing a call toward ordination to the Ministry of the Word and Sacrament. This team is supported through the Evangelism, Mission, and Outreach Council.
Committee members serve as liaisons with individual seminarians, giving support, guidance, and counsel through the ordination for Ministry of the Word and Sacrament process.
Required: Spiritual maturity, attendance at periodic team meetings, contacts with seminarian member is working as liaison, and contacts with the appropriate Presbytery committee.
Helpful: Interest in and some basic knowledge of the PC(USA). Team meetings are called as the need arises. The team sponsors a social event for seminarians usually during the Christmas season.
