jetSTREAM Parents & Volunteers
Calling all Parents and Young Adult Volunteers! JetStream is in need!
We need men and women who love God and love students. We believe that by having a friendship/ mentorship with you, these 7th and 8th grade students will take major steps in their personal walks with Christ!!
We have 3 places to get involved…
- On Sunday mornings, from 9:30 – 10:30 AM, Parents are always welcome to come, listen, participate, and visit. As for Small Groups, we will be transition from parents “leading” small group discussion to “facilitate” the group as the students lead each other through the questions. Parents are encouraged to keep the group on track and biblically true J The students will be asking and answering the questions according the lesson they just heard.
- Wednesday Nights:Every Wednesday, we meet in the Bell center from 6-7:30. We need lots of help with food, with games, and especially leading small groups. If you are interested in getting to know a specific group of kids and being a consistent example of a Christ filled life talk to us! We would love to have you.
- And finally, we always need help on special event outings and mission trips and youth conferences and retreats! Seriously, when was the last time you went on a scavenger hunt or sat around a camp fire?! If we’re going somewhere and you want to come…call me!
