jetSTREAM Parents & Volunteers
Calling all Parents and Young Adult Volunteers! JetStream is in need!
We need men and women who love God and love students. We believe that by having a friendship/ mentorship with you, these 7th and 8th grade students will take major steps in their personal walks with Christ!!
We have 3 places to get involved…
- Sunday Mornings: We need adults who are excited to connect with students each week during our Sunday School hour (9:30-10:30 am). And by connect we mean to talk to them, asking questions about their lives, and pointing them to Christ! We have “Small groups,” split up by gender and grade, that meet after the lesson to discuss a few jump off questions provided. Your group will stay the same throughout the year. We ask that you stay mindful of the kids in your group and call or email if you haven’t seen them in a while.
- Wednesday Nights:Every Wednesday, we meet in the Bell center from 6-7:30. We need lots of help with food, with games, and especially leading small groups. If you are interested in getting to know a specific group of kids and being a consistent example of a Christ filled life talk to us! We would love to have you.
- And finally, we always need help on special event outings and mission trips and youth conferences and retreats! Seriously, when was the last time you went on a scavenger hunt or sat around a camp fire?! If we’re going somewhere and you want to come…call me!
