Leadership Development

The Leadership Development and Mentoring Teams are passionate about:

  • creating and implementing programs, resources, and venues to equip members of HPPC for servant leadership roles, and
  • providing and equipping leadership mentors for new leaders.

The Level One Leadership Development Class for HPPC leaders is offered two to three times per year. Any council, committee or ministry team member or someone identified for a future position is eligible for this class.

This three-session class is an initiative designed by the Life Ministry Committee in response to HPPC strategic planning goals. This support is vital to help all HPPC’s leaders understand their place in the greater church as well as having the knowledge necessary to become leaders within different organizations within HPPC.

The class will provide you with the information and support from a leadership perspective in the following key areas:

  1. Church Organization and Operation
  2. Leading Committees, Ministry Teams, Expectations
  3. Spiritual Leadership Principles from Nehemiah.
