Frequently Asked Questions about Short Term Trips:

Q. What if I don't speak the language of the country we are visiting?
A. On short term trips each participant is partnered with a translator that will help you out during the time you are visiting.

Q. What if I can't afford the cost of the trip?
A. Many participant raise support for the cost of the trip (the trip leaders will provide training on how to do this).  HPPC also has partial scholarships available for those that need financial assistance.

Q. Will there be training before we leave on the trip.
A. Pre-trip training is actually required for all participants.  Most trip have 3-4 meetings before the trip so that you will be well prepared to minister once
you get to your destination.

In order to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ, HPPC is committed to doing ministry cross culturally.  We believe we are following the commandment to, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations..."  (Matthew 28:19) One way we strive to do this is through short term mission trip opportunities.  HPPC members are mobilized to go on one to two weeks trips.
