Global Day of Prayer
Join other Christians as they gather Pentecost Sunday, May 27, from 5-8 pm at the Reunion Arena in downtown Dallas! It will be a time of celebration through prayer, as leaders in our area, as well as others, will lead prayers that address specific needs in our world, nation, and community.
The event will be hosted by Bob Bakke (National Prayer Committee), Dr. Jack Graham (Prestonwood Baptist Church), Bishop T.D. Jakes (The Potter’s House), and Luis Palau (Luis Palau Evangelistic Association). HPPC's Senior Pastor, Dr. Ron Scates, and the Director of Urban Ministries, will also lead a celebration of prayer and the power it can bring to our communities. These leaders and others will lead prayers that address specific needs in our world, nation and community. Special musical presentations, some by a 2,000-voice multi-church choir, will also be performed.
The doors open at 3:30 pm and admission is free, but a ticket is required. Tickets will be available beginning Sunday, May 13, at the front desk of the Hunt builidng.
