Parents of our UpStream High Schoolers we are honored to have the opportunity to work along side of you, and are looking forward expectantly and excited to see all that HE has in store for us this year in UpStream! We believe that it is God’s desire to unify us into one body – a team working together to see Him glorified through our day-to-day work. We CANNOT do what we do without YOU! Thank you!
It is our prayer that YOU specifically would be apart of our team. You have an opportunity through the UpStream ministry at HPPC to play a role in what we believe is the single most important, most exciting, most challenging, and most rewarding time in your child’s life thus far! We have a blast and are greatly blessed by opportunities to be apart of God’s work in the lives of your high school students…we don’t want you to miss out on a chance to do the same! Listed below are just a few ways that you are able to serve in the UpStream Ministry. There really are no limits to the ways for you to get involved and we hope that you would pray NOW about joining our TEAM!
Serve on the 2008-2009 UpStream Committee
Be a greeter on Sunday Mornings
Host CURRENT (Wednesday Night Bible Study) in my home for one month.
Be a discussion group leader for Sunday Morning Worship
Support the Missions committee member with trip logistics
Help implement retreats and other special events with the Special Events committee member
Provide food/snacks for fellowship activities, trips, and retreats ☺
Help plan or chaperone for fellowship events (5th quarters, concerts, holiday parties, etc)
go on a mission trip as a parent leader
Serve on the “XStreamServe” Committee
Provide a lake house or ranch for small group getaways…ETC!
