Barnabas was an apostle of the early Church and was best known for his love and faithful support of the great apostle Paul. Just as Barnabas came alongside and supported Paul, our Barnabas Teams will do the same for each of the missionaries of our Church.
As Barnabas Team you will encourage, befriend, correspond with and pray for a specific missionary family. The Barnabas team will learn the needs of the missionary and help HPPC effectively meet those needs. Additionally, Barnabas Teams will coordinate visits of our missionaries when they come to Dallas by facilitating opportunities for the missionaries to stay vitally connected with HPPC. You may even be able to participate in short-term trip to so that you can visit your missionary in the field to gain a more complete understanding of your missionary's needs.
Our goal is to have a team of 6 members who will support each missionary family. We currently support 30 missionaries all over the world, which means we need 30 Barnabas Teams.
You are not too old, too young, or too any thing else to be a team member. The only requirement is to love the Lord and want to help with His harvest. Your commitment would be on a year-to-year basis.
