HPPC Supported Missionaries

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in?  And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?  And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?  And how can they preach unless they are sent?
Romans 10:14-15

HPPC partners with and supports 34 missionaries that serve in Central Asia, East Asia, South Africa, Nigeria, Peru, Thailand, Bolivia and Costa Rica as well as in other countries.  These faithful servants serve is so many ways to bring the gospel to different areas.  Some of these areas are less than 1% Christian and are often dangerous areas in which to teach the gospel.

To spiritually and emotionally encourage our missionaries each one is assigned a Barnabas Team – which is a team of HPPC members who provide regular and on-going support and care for the missionary and his or her family.

One way that we support our missionaries is to provide them housing (when possible) while they are in Dallas for furlough.  The Mission House is located across the street from the church and serves as a blessing to those serving regularly so far from home.

We also know that saving for their children’s college education is a huge burden for many missionaries.  They are not often able to save much due to the challenges of raising support.  HPPC has developed a fund that offers a matching gift for college savings.  Currently, 41 dependent children of our missionaries are participating in the program.  To donate funds please give through the Missionary College Fund DGO.

We do not list specific information about individuals for security reasons.  If you are interested in more information please contact our Director of World Missions, Judi Wheeler at judi.wheeler@hppc.org or 214-526-1766 ext 1237.
