The World Relief Team is responsible for supporting and promoting relief of human suffering and development opportunities, worldwide.
World Relief Opportunities

There are 12 Voting Team Members and nine Advisory Team Members. Approximately 175 lay hours were spent on Committee work. This does not include the time spent on our various ministry teams.

Researches, recommends and distributes money to projects that exist to aid in the relief of human suffering. The funds distributed come from both our portion of the annual budget and DGO Funds.

Strives to educate and increase awareness within the congregation of the problems associated with famine, war, natural disasters, disease, and the crushing effects of poverty coupled with lack of education and opportunity.
Goals
- Seek out new partnerships and nurture existing partnerships to help the World Relief Team aid their response to human suffering.
- Establish a plan to promote the work of World Relief and to inform the congregation of the actions and issues of World Relief.
- Continue to sponsor ministry teams and actively recruit new co-moderators and team members.
Prayers
- More HPPC Lay people will become aware of the World Relief Team and want to get involved.
- Wisdom and discernment for team members as they evaluate funding opportunities brought before them.
