5th & 6th Ministry
Led by Sterling White, the 5th and 6th Ministry is designed uniquely for 10–12 year olds. We help your child develop, mature, and grow their faith and have fun doing it. On Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, and throughout the week they will develop deep relationships with staff and volunteers as they learn, question, and discover who God has made them to be.
Wednesday, May 10, 6 pm, Bell Center and Front Lawn
All 5th and 6th graders are invited to meet in Room 231 at 9:30 am for donuts, friends and fun as we learn about Christ together. We hope to see you there!
5th and 6th Grade Wednesday Nights – 6–7:15 pm
Bring a friend with you to our Wednesday night Bible study. We start in the Williams Park with dinner ($5) and games at 6 pm. Then we head over to the Room 229 for more fun, games and Bible study. Pick up is at the Park St. circle drive at 7:15 pm. (See Map for Location)
Students will experience Christ-centered community and a passion for making their faith loud through our partnerships with Reconciliation Outreach in East Dallas and Haiti Outreach Ministries. Students also get their very first opportunity to participate in a week-long mission trip!
5th & 6th - San Antonio Mission Trip
June 4–9, Completed 5th-6th Grade
5th and 6th Grade Ministry is excited to announce that we will be heading down to San Antonio to serve alongside First Presbyterian San Antonio, the church of former Pastor Ron Scates. We will be staying in dorms within FPC and partnering with local mission agencies in the area. The week will be filled with worship, serving and a day of fun. This location was an incredibly challenging and life-transforming experience for the students who went in 2015 and we are excited to head back and foster more relationships with the people in San Antonio.
Cost: $350 for students; $100 for parents ($50 deposit required)
