Njuthine, Kenya

In 2007, a mission trip was sent from Highland Park Presbyterian Church (HPPC) to Njuthine, Kenya. Njuthine is the hometown of one our pastors, Cyprian Guchienda. It is a rural country village that was unknown to many, but in great need of assistance. Over the years, strides and progress has been made in five main categories:

  • Healthcare
  • Water Irrigation & Purification
  • Education
  • Government Advocacy
  • Spiritual Renewal

Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, “Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about this physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. James 2:15-18
